it hardly made a difference when you took my breath away i doubt it'll make a difference if they take my place cuz all of the time i've been crashing and all of the time i've been crashing i'm never gonna feel it 'til it strikes me in the abdomen i'm never gonna see it 'til it hits me in the eye still all of the time i've been looking and all of the time i've been looking and any deficiency is prominent as you make it out to be but that's just me so it hardly made a difference when you took my breath away i doubt it'll make a difference if they take my place cuz all of the time i've been crashing and all of the time i've been crashing and any deficiency is prominent as you make it out to be but that's just me and any deficiency is prominent as you're making it out still all of the time i've been crashing and all of the time i've been looking and all of the time i've been reaching and all of the time i've been slacking and all of the time i've been crashing

about

It was during the recording of 'Pig Tail World' that Dr. Rhythm quit the band. He said it was because we were fighting too much and he couldn't take the tension, but we found out later he'd been dipping liberally into the prescription meds. Well, whatever his reason, we had a dilemma on our hands. We'd booked the studio months in advance and couldn't afford to hire another drummer, or to buy some drums. (Being a doctor, Dr. Rhythm was the only band member who actually had any money).

So we improvised. We started recording percussion tracks with any objects that happened to be lying around. A cardboard box as a snare drum? Sure. You'll hear a typewriter on 'Accident Prone' and 'Ice & Snow'. We used pots, pans and bottles on 'Throw Some Love My Way' and 'Crashing'. Well after a couple of weeks the good doctor did eventually clean up his act and he came sheepishly crawling back. He mumbled something about needing to recharge his batteries. All was forgiven, but we didn't have time to re-record drums so the household objects stayed.

Fast forward to present day: we must admit to having done some re-mastering on many of the tracks before uploading this virtual version of 'Pig Tail World'. Nothing too major. We flew the tapes up to the Grasshopper Records mastering facility on Uranus and firmed up the bottom. OK, that didn't come out right. I mean, we improved the low end on a lot of the songs. So, these here tracks are BETTER than what you'll find on the CD and that's why you have to download them. If something is better, you need it. We hope you enjoy.
